BACK ON THE COURT
The Daemen University women's tennis team wraps up its fall season with an ECC tilt against Queens on Sunday evening. The match was rescheduled from earlier this season.

LAST TIME OUT
Daemen defeated Oswego State 7-0 last Saturday for its third win of the season.  The Wildcats won two of the three doubles matches to claim the doubles point and take a 1-0 lead. Daemen then took all six singles matches, with five of the six ending in two sets. Marley Conover (San Luis Obispo, Calif.), Stephanie Baier (Boise, Idaho), Bella Bjerkan (Elmhurst, Ill.), Carly Armitage (Rochester, N.Y.), and Lily Goodemote (Sauquoit, N.Y.) all earned convincing wins for the Wildcats. Ashley Bonilla (Flushing, N.Y.) also battled in a tie-breaker to win her match at the No. 6 slot. The Wildcats also dropped a 6-1 decision at District of Columbia last Friday.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Conover was named ECC Rookie of the Week on Monday. She picked up two wins, helping the Wildcats defeat Oswego State 7-0 on Sunday. She played at the No. 1 doubles slot, where she and partner, Baier, earned a 6-1 victory over Emily DeLuca and Leah Bell from the Lakers.  During singles action, the freshman continued to dominate, not losing a single set, in a 6-0, 6-0 victory against Avery Borman of Oswego. This marks the first time in Conover's career that she has earned a weekly award from the ECC.

GETTING ON THE BOARD
Several Wildcats earned their first wins of the season against Fredonia on Oct 5. Goodemote, Armitage, Bonilla, and Dania Mehani (Amherst, N.Y.) all picked up their first singles wins of the season. Nadja Emmendorfer (Clarence, N.Y.) improved to 2-1 in singles, while Baier and Bjerkan also earned wins.  Goodemote and Mehani notched their first doubles victory of the year.

SCOUTING QUEENS (2-0, 1-0 ECC)
Queens has only played two dual matches this fall, most recently defeating Assumption 7-0 in non-conference action on Oct. 9. The Knights also downed St. Thomas Aquinas 7-0 in an ECC battle on Oct. 4.

SERIES HISTORY
The Knights lead the all-time series 13-0. Queens earned a 6-1 victory when the teams met in Flushing, N.Y., last season. The Knights also took a 4-0 win in last season's ECC Semifinal
