Box Score WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – The Daemen University men's tennis team dropped their final regular season home match of the year in a 0-7 loss to the East Coast Conference leading Queens Knights on Saturday evening at the Miller Tennis Center. With the loss, Daemen falls to 4-14 on the year and 0-5 in ECC play while Queens improves to 4-1 in ECC action and 11-4 overall.
With the Wildcats playing down a man for the entire match, Queens won all matches on the day. The Knight beat Daemen in first and second doubles and won the third doubles match by default. In singles play, Daemen senior
Juan Alvarez (Puebla, Mexico) forced Queens junior Lucas Foix Sotos to three sets, falling in the first set 6-3 but taking Foix Sotos in the second set (6

8) before falling 10-4 in the third set tiebreak.
