Daemen's No. 1 duo of Alex Lumanog (Albuquerque, N.M.) and Lasse Mergens (Bochum, Germany) fell by a 6-2 score, while the No. 2 tandem of Rohan Chitanand (Den Haag, Netherlands) and Pablo Viera (Naples, Fla.) took a 6-3 loss. In singles play, the Cavaliers won all six matchups, including five in straight sets. The No. 3 singles tilt between Chitanand and Walsh senior Lukas Kohler went the distance before Kohler emerged victorious by a 4-6, 6-4, 10-6 score. UP NEXT Daemen continues its Ohio trip tomorrow, Jan. 31, with a Saturday afternoon contest against Ashland University at Noon in Lexington, Ohio.
