The Wildcats currently hold a 3-12 record, including a 0-6 ECC mark after falling 5-2 at St. Thomas Aquinas in their last match. LAST TIME OUT Daemen dropped a 5-2 decision at St. Thomas Aquinas on March 21. Daemen earned wins at No. 5 and No. 6 singles. Lily Goodemote (Saqouit, N.Y.) picked up a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 5 over Martinez Blucher. Nadja Emmendorfer (Clarence, N.Y.) defeated Chanelle Russell 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 6 slot. The Spartans won the other five singles matches and the doubles matches to secure the victory. ECC WEEKLY HONOR ROLL Goodemote was named to the ECC Weekly Honor Roll on March 24 following her performance against STAC. The sophomore won her match at No. 5 singles by a score of 6-2, 6-1 over Martinez Blucher of the Spartans. GETTING ON THE BOARD Goodemote and Emmendorfer both won their first singles matches of the spring against STAC on March 21. Carly Armitage (Rochester, N.Y.) picked up her first singles win of the spring against West Liberty on Feb. 14. During the fall, several Wildcats earned their first wins of the season against Fredonia on Oct. 5. Goodemote, Armitage, Ashley Bonilla (Flushing, N.Y.), and Dania Mehani (Amherst, N.Y.) all picked up their first singles wins of the season. Emmendorfer earned her second doubles win, while Stephanie Baier (Boise, Idaho) and Bella Bjerkan (Elmhurst, Ill.) also earned wins. Goodemote and Mehani notched their first doubles victory of the year. FALL RECAP The Wildcats went 3-7 during the fall campaign, including a 0-4 mark in East Coast Conference matches. Daemen earned wins over Nazareth (5-2), Fredonia (7-0), and Oswego State (7-0). Bjerkan and Marley Conover (San Luis Obispo, Calif.) both posted 4-7 singles records during the fall. The doubles team of Conover and Baier led the way with a 4-7 mark. SCOUTING D'YOUVILLE (5-7, 3-2 ECC) The Saints are 5-7, including a 3-2 record in ECC action. D'Youville dropped two non-conference matches last weekend, falling 4-3 at Salem and 6-1 at West Virginia Wesleyan. Mina Randjelovic leads the Saints with a 7-4 singles record, playing mostly at the No. 4 slot. D'Youville's doubles team of Nele Herbst and Erika Ismailova has gone 5-4.  SERIES HISTORY Daemen is 12-1 all-time against D'Youville. The Wildcats suffered their first loss to the Saints this fall, dropping a 7-0 decision at home. Last season, the Wildcats earned a 5-2 road win over D'Youville. The victory clinched Daemen's spot in the ECC Tournament.
