AMHERST, N.Y. — Stefan Jankovic (Reykjavik, Iceland) scored for Daemen (0-5-2), but the Wildcats fell 7-1 to Slippery Rock in their final non-conference tilt of the season on Wednesday evening at Royal Park.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Jankovic got Daemen on the board in the 30th minute, finding the back of the net off of passes from Jordan Nobe (Honolulu, Hawaii) and Keegan Herrmann (Wilson, N.Y.) to make it 2-1.
• The Rock had pulled ahead 2-0 after scoring in the fourth and ninth minutes.
• SRU added another goal in the 40th minute.
• The Rock scored four goals in the second half, starting with tallies in the 69th and 76th minutes.
• SRU then scored in the 83rd and 88th minutes to make it 7-1.
• Afonso Abreu (Leiria, Portugal) had an early chance when he fired a shot in the fifth minute, which was saved.
• Nobe had a opportunity in the 35th minute, but his shot was saved.
• Fabrizzio Jaramillo (Lynwood, Calif.) ripped a shot wide in the 57th minute.
• Hermann took a shot in the 81st minute, but it was saved.

GAME NOTES

• Jankovic scored his second career goal and his first of the season.
• Goalie Colin Hockridge (Scarborough, Ontario) made 10 saves playing all 90 minutes.
• The Wildcats finished with five shots, putting four on frame.
• Daemen had one corner kick.
