Sarah Crissy (Tonawanda, N.Y./ Kenmore East) and freshman
Delaney Fragale (Lockport, N.Y./Lockport) picked up points for the Daemen College women's tennis team in today's non-conference matchup against the College of Saint Rose. The Wildcats dropped the contest 7-2 against the Golden Knights.
The Wildcats fell to 5-11 overall while the Golden Knights increase to 5-13 overall to end their season.
Saint Rose took control of doubles competition by coming out on top in all three of the matchups.
The Wildcats were led by Crissy who defeated Alanna Bergmann 8-4. With this win, Crissy advances to 6-10 overall.
Delaney Fragale came out on top in an extremely close matchup against Keriann Mahoney 6-4, 7-6(1). Fragale bumps up to 7-11 overall in competition.
This match ends the fall season for women's tennis. They will continue competition in February by competing in the Daemen/Medaille Invitational that will be held from February 19-21 in Williamsville, N.Y. at Miller Tennis Center.
