| Daemen: Stephen Beatty enters his fourth season as the head coach of the Wildcats...over the course of his first three seasons, Beatty has guided the Daemen women's tennis team to a 24-46 record...a former collegiate player at Division II Northwood University (Mich.) and Division III D'Youville College, Beatty got his coaching start as an assistant to Kelly Brown, serving for one season - Daemen's inaugural season of tennis competition - before being promoted to the top post. |

| Daemen returns seven players from last year's team that tied the program record for overall wins after finishing 8-16 overall and 1-6 in the East Coast Conference...among the returners are the duo of seniors Hayle Scanlan and Karli Hollins...Scanlan enters the season already ranking as the Wildcats' all-time leader in singles victories (33), total singles matches (76), doubles victories (33) and total doubles matches (77)...Hollins went 13-9 in singles play and 17-9 in doubles play, tying teammate Gretchen Ringler's single-season record for singles victories, and establishing a new program record for doubles wins...Ringler, who set the singles record as a freshman in 2014-15, is also back after earning nine more singles wins last season...that tied her for third on the team with fellow returners Jessica Robins and Delaney Fragale...Daemen was picked seventh in the ECC preseason poll...seven of Daemen's 10 matches this season have been decided by three points or less...the Wildcats snapped a four-match slide with a 6-3 win over Cedarville last Friday, and they bring a two-match winning streak into this week's action...DC is coming off a 9-0 shutout of Houghton on Saturday...Hollins posted a 6-2, 6-2 win in first singles over Cedarville's Lauren Jackson, the 2015-16 GMAC Player of the Year, on Friday...Scanlan has gone 6-4 over her last 10 singles matches, and she leads the team with eight total singles wins...she posted the 40th singles win of her career in the defeat of Cedarville...sophomore Morgan Park picked up her first singles win of the season in the defeat of Houghton...Robins (6-6) and Shaylah Iverson (6-5) are tied for second on the team with six singles wins apiece. |

| FINDLAY SCOUTING REPORT (1-6, 1-6 GLIAC) |
| Findlay is a member of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference...head coach Doug Linden is in his fourth season at the helm...he's led the Oilers to an 11-41 record in his tenure to date...the Oilers are coming off a 1-12 campaign in 2015-16...senior Matina Matic, a native of Serbia, leads the returners for UF after earning second-team All-GLIAC honors last season...Matic posted a team-high six singles wins last year...also back is fellow Serbian Tijana Raicevic who earned honorable-mention All-GLIAC honors in 2015-16...the Oilers opened the 2016-17 season with four straight defeats before getting off the proverbial schneid with a 7-2 defeat of Ashland on Oct. 1...since then, UF has suffered defeats against Walsh (7-2) and Ferris State (5-4)...two of the Oilers' last four losses have come by three points or less...the Oilers compete against conference foe Grand Valley State on Sunday before hosting Daemen on Monday. |

| Walsh is a member of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference...head coach Bryan Whittaker is in his fifth season with the reins of the program...he's led the Cavaliers to a 44-69 overall record to date...the Cavaliers are coming off a 7-19 campaign in 2015-16, which included a 4-7 GLIAC record which was good enough for their third straight GLIAC Tournament berth...Walsh is three years removed from a 20-8 campaign in which they finished the 2013-14 season as the No. 9 ranked team in the Midwest Region...the Cavaliers return a pair of All-GLIAC honorees in first-teamer Sofya Logunova and second-team selection Daria Bondavera...Logunova hails from the Czech Republic while Bondavera is from Russia...the Cavaliers opened the season with four straight defeats before jumping into the win column with an 8-1 defeat of Division III Allegheny on Sept. 20...since the calendar turned to October, Walsh has posted a 1-2 record...their win this month came against Findlay on Oct. 2...the Cavaliers are coming off an 8-1 loss to conference foe Northwood, and they play at Saginaw Valley on Sunday before hosting Daemen on Tuesday. |
