Daemen: Dan Dolan enters his eighth season as the head coach at Daemen where he's led the program to an average of nearly 10 wins per season...from 2010 through 2013, Dolan led the Wildcats to four straight double-figure win seasons, winning 62-percent of their contests in that span...last season was the program's most successful since transitioning to NCAA Division II, as Dolan led the Wildcats to a team-record four ECC wins to finish in fifth place in the final league standings, just one spot back of a conference tournament berth...during the Wildcats' transition period, Dolan led the program to three straight appearances in the USCAA national championship game, winning the title in 2012.
Mercy: Jonathan Feinstein, now in his eighth season leading the Mercy Mavericks, is the program's all-time leader in wins...over his first seven seasons, Feinstein has led the Mavericks to an overall record of 56-58-6, three consecutive ECC Tournament appearances, the 2014 ECC championship and an appearance in the NCAA Division II East Region Final.

| DAEMEN SCOUTING REPORT (2-2-0, 0-0-0 ECC) |
| Daemen returns 15 players from last year's team that finished 7-10-1 overall and 4-5-0 in the East Coast Conference…eighth-year head coach Dan Dolan has his team coming off its most successful season since making the transition to NCAA Division II and the East Coast Conference...the returning core is led by junior back Rose Carboni who anchors the Wildcat defense...she was a third-team All-ECC selection last season...also back are six off the team's top seven point-producers from 2015, including junior forward Stephanie Zurales (6 gls, 5 asts, 17 pts) and senior midfielder Alexis Koral (5 gls, 2 asts, 12 pts) who produced double-figure points...Zurales' point total tied her for 11th among all ECC players...starting goalkeeper Meaghan O'Leary also returns after starting all 18 games last season as a true freshman...she finished third among all ECC net-minders with 87 saves last season...Daemen was picked to finish seventh in the ECC preseason poll...after opening the season with back-to-back losses to Lake Erie and Le Moyne, the Wildcats evened their record with a pair of road victories last weekend...Alex Juliano scored in the 95th minute to lift Daemen to a 2-1 (OT) victory over Findlay on Saturday...the Wildcats followed that up with a 1-0 shutout of Tiffin on Sunday....Sarah Britton's score in the 39th minute held up as the only tally needed...Sophomore net-minder Jackie Wescott made two stops in posting her first career shutout...for her efforts, Wescott was named the ECC Defensive Player of the Week for Sept. 6-11...Daemen is coming off a 1-1 (2OT) tie vs. Mansfield in their home opener earlier this week...freshman forward Jamie Boyar scored midway through the second half to even the score, and Wescott stood tall with a career-high 14 saves, the most for a Daemen goalkeeper since 2013...through five games, Britton holds the team lead with three points (1 goal, 2 asts)...Boyar leads the team in total shot attempts (12)...Wescott has started four of the Wildcats' five outings and holds a 0.94 goals against average which presently ranks third in the ECC. |

| MERCY SCOUTING REPORT (2-2-0, 0-0-0 ECC) |
| Mercy returns 15 players from last year's team that finished 8-7-3 overall and 6-3-0 in East Coast Conference play...the Mavericks earned the No. 4 seed to last season's ECC Tournament, falling in the semifinal round to eventual league champion Bridgeport...it was the Mavericks' third straight ECC Tournament appearance...after being bounced, the Mavericks participated in the ECAC Tournament, defeating Pace in penalty kicks before falling 2-0 to Post in the tourney finals...second-team All-ECC picks Haley Noble and Heidi Serna headline the Mavericks' returners...California native Noble led the team in goals (5), total points (15), shots (52) and shots on goal (31) as a freshman in 2015...Serna, also from California, scored four goals and posted nine points in 2015...Mercy was picked third in the ECC preseason poll...after opening the season with a 3-1 win at Southern Connecticut State, the Mavericks dropped consecutive games to Southern New Hampshire (4-1) and American International (1-0)...the Mavericks are comign off a 5-1 defeat of Le Moyne earlier this week...the explosive Mercy team ranks second in the ECC in goals (9), shots per game (14.3) and shots on goal (35), and first in shot percentage (.158) and shots on goal percentage (.614)...newcomer Jessica Brandt has paced the Mavericks thus far with a team-high six points (2 gls, 2 asts)...Noble and Serna have each dished an assist and recorded a pair of goals...in goal, junior Ashley Price has made four starts and holds a .731 save percentage. |

| STAC returns 11 players from their 2015 team which achieved an overall record of 5-11-0 and an East Coast Conference mark of 2-7-0...the Spartans are left to replace their top two scorers from last season in Lindsey Sansone (9 gls, 6 asts, 23 pts) and Alyssa Rosania (9 gls, 18 pts)...no other STAC player recorded more than five points last season...STAC was picked ninth in the ECC preseason poll...the Spartans got off to a solid start in 2016, winning their first two outings by outscoring their opponents 9-0...but, in the three games since, STAC hasn't tasted victory and has been outscored 9-1...the Spartans are coming off a 2-0 loss at home to Assumption earlier this week...STAC plays at Roberts Wesleyan on Friday before heading to Daemen to cap the weekend...freshman Victoria DiMarco scored twice in STAC's season-opening 5-0 defeat of Lincoln, and has totaled three goals to lead the team thus far...junior Nicole Rivera leads the ECC with four assists and has posted two goals as well...sophomore Courtney Dumain has been the Spartans' exclusive goalkeeper thus far...she enters the weekend tied for the league lead in total saves with 27. |
