ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Rodney Corbin (Williamsville, N.Y.) and Ethan Majewski (Pendleton, N.Y.) led the way as the Daemen College men's track and field team returned to action today at the Rochester Institute of Technology Invitational held at Gordon Field House. It marked the Wildcats' first meet of 2019, resuming their season after a five-week hiatus.

Corbin continued his stellar sophomore season with a second-place finish in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.07. He also finished second in his preliminary heat but shaved more than one-tenth of a second off his time in the final heat.

Mike Swiniarski (Akron, N.Y.) was able to achieve a top-ten finish in the 3,000 meter run, finishing sixth out of the 15 competitors with a time of 9:31:66. Josh Bodnar (Fillmore, N.Y.) also competed at that distance, finishing in 10:06:40.

Daemen's 800 meter relay squad of Brainard, Majewski, Corbin and Drew Greenaway (Brooklyn, N.Y.) placed second with a time of 1:41:37.
