The top five individuals in each event from each region earned an All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-three relay teams. The regions used for this award – Atlantic, Central, East, Midwest, South, South Central, Southeast, and West – match those used during the cross country season. Johnson won the 1500m at the East Coast Conference Championships on April 30, logging a time of 4:02.55. He defeated the second-place finisher by three seconds and the third-place finisher by 11 seconds. The junior also ran the 1500 at the UB Alumni Invitational. Johnson logged a personal-best time of 3:57.31 to place fifth out of 43 runners from Division I, II, and III teams. His time also broke the school record he previously held. Johnson began the outdoor season, competing in the 1500 at the Charleston Golden Eagle Invitational. At the meet, he logged a time of 4:02.96, finishing seventh out of 32 runners. This is the first time in his career that Johnson has earned All-Region honors for outdoor track. He helped the Wildcats place fourth out of six teams at the 2026 ECC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
