2019 Outdoor Track & Field Schedule Announced

AMHERST, N.Y. – The Daemen College track and field program has officially released the outdoor portion of its 2018-19 schedule today. The outdoor campaign is identical for both the men's and women's teams, and it will get underway on Saturday, March 30 when interim head coach Judy Arlington and the Wildcats travel to the Geneseo Early Season Invitational. It will mark the third straight season that the Wildcats have opened up at the meet hosted by the State University of New York at Geneseo. 

A rare two-meet week follows at the Wildcats are slated to partake in the Allegheny County Classic hosted by Houghton College on Tuesday, April 2, followed by the Dave Labor Invitational on Saturday, April 6.

The Wildcats return to action at the Brockport Friday Night Invite on April 12. It'll be Daemen's first outdoor meet at Brockport since the 2016-17 season, and their fourth trip there this season after competing in three indoor meets. 

The East Coast Conference Championships are slated for Saturday, April 20 on the campus of Farmingdale State College. The Daemen women placed second (their highest finish in an ECC Championship meet) and the Wildcat men placed fourth in their respective conference championship standings last season.

The regular season will conclude Saturday, April 27 when Daemen makes the short trek to UB Stadium for the Buffalo Invitational. it'll mark the fourth straight season that Daemen has competed in the meet hosted by their Division I neighbors. 
 
The men's and women's track and field teams are currently progressing through their indoor season. They are in action this Friday, January 18 at the Highlander Invitational hosted by Houghton.
