HIGHLANDER INVITATIONAL - FULL RESULTS
HOUGHTON, N.Y. - Freshman Nazjahe Boswell (Rochester, N.Y.) led the way for the Daemen College women's indoor track and field team tonight at the Highlander Invitational.
Boswell was able to continue her stellar freshman campaign with two top-three finishes in the 60-meter dash and the 300-meter dash. She finished third in both events with a 7.98 time in the 60-meter dash followed by a 44.06 time in the 300-meter dash.
Savannah Warner (East Aurora, N.Y.) achieved another top-five finish this year, but this time in the 600-meter dash. Warner finished with a time of 1:44:02.
Taylor Haude (Rochester, N.Y.) and Kyra Kress (Wayland, N.Y.) both finished in the top-six of the pole vault event with Haude clearing 3.05 meters and Kress clearing 2.90 meters.
Hannah Miller (Seneca Falls, N.Y.) went on to finish in the top half of both of her loaded events with 30-plus athletes in the shot-put and 20-lb. weight throw. Miller threw 9.55 meters in the shot-put followed by 11.34 meters in the 20-lb. weight throw.
Katja Meyer (Verona, N.Y.) continued breaking her school triple jump record as well, beating her old record of 10.57 meters by .01 meters tonight. Meyer finished third with a jump of 10.58 meters.
The Wildcats will continue its season with another meet at Brockport for the Brockport Multi & Invitational on Saturday, January 26 beginning at 10 a.m.
