ROCHESTER ALUMNI INVITATIONAL - FULL RESULTS

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Sullivan Keller (Alden, N.Y.) broke the shot put record today for the Daemen College men's outdoor track and field team today at the University of Rochester Alumni Invitational. The meet featured seven teams and 21 events. The Wildcats competed in only field events today, and placed seventh with 18 total points in the meet.

Keller eclipsed the shot put record for the third time this season. Keller first broke the record at the Allegany County Classic before breaking his own at the Dave Labor Invitational last weekend. Keller's new record of 14.74 meters beats his previous 14.53-meter throw. The throw landed him in first place among the 22 other throwers.

Keller also had two other top-six finishes in the hammer throw and javelin. Keller finished sixth in the javelin with a 36.79-meter throw and fourth in the hammer throw with a 45.12-meter throw. The hammer throw had 16 competitors and the javelin had 12. Andrew Strobele (Akron, N.Y.) finished 11th in the javelin with a 22.36-meter throw.

The Wildcats will compete again on Easter Weekend for the East Coast Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship. The meet will be on April 20 in Farmingdale, N.Y.
