EAST FARMINGDALE, N.Y. - Sullivan Keller (Alden, N.Y.) propelled the Daemen College men's outdoor track and field team to a fourth place finish at the East Coast Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Of the seven teams, the Wildcats finished with 62 points while St. Thomas Aquinas finished with 228 points to take their third consecutive conference title.

Keller finished with three second-place finishes in the hammer throw, shot put and javelin throw. He went on to set a new record in the hammer throw, beating 6 other throwers, with a 47.09-meter toss breaking his own record of 46.23-meter set earlier this month at the Allegany County Classic. Keller then had a 14.40-meter shot put, out of 8, and a 41.70-meter javelin throw, out of 6.

Michael Swiniarski (Akron, N.Y.) had a top-three finish in the 10,000-meter run. He finished third out of the eight other runners with a final time of 34:06.52.

Coming off of his men's volleyball season, freshman Henry Moffitt (Sydney, Australia) had two top-six finishes in both the long jump and high jump. Moffitt's high jump of 1.83-meters led him to a third place finish while also tying Nick Marlin's record set at the ECC Championships in 2015. His long jump of 6.00-meters propelled him to a fifth place finish out of the 16 jumpers. Rodney Corbin (Williamsville, N.Y.) finished just after Moffitt in sixth place with a 5.86-meter jump.

Jonny Schmidt (Clarence Center, N.Y.) finished his 400-meter dash with a time 52.00 seconds which was good for a fifth place finish out of 15 other runners.

Daniel Fogle (Lockport, N.Y.) went on to finish second in the pole vault with a 3.10-meter jump.

The Wildcats will wrap their season up next weekend on Saturday, April 27 at the Buffalo Invitational.
