2019 UB INVIATIONAL -- FULL RESULTS
AMHERST, N.Y. - The Daemen College men's track and field team concluded its 2019 outdoor season today by partaking in the University at Buffalo Invitational held at UB Stadium. It marked the fourth consecutive year that the Wildcats have participated in the meet, which took place less than five miles away from the Daemen campus.
Daemen sent a limited number of competitors to take part in today's meet, with the Wildcats represented in just seven of the 18 events.
Sophomore Mike Swiniarski (Akron, N.Y.) was the lone Daemen competitor during the track events. Swiniarski took part in the 5,000 meter run and placed eighth out of 13 runners with a time of 16:17.76.
Daemen was represented in six of the eight field events.
Junior thrower Sullivan Keller (Alden, N.Y.) competed in the javelin, hammer and shot put today. He placed second in both the javelin (40.21 meters) and the hammer (44.19 meters) and fourth in the shot put. (13.60 meters). Freshman Henry Moffitt (Sydney, Australia) placed fourth in the long jump (6.00 meters), high jump (1.80 meters) and the triple jump (11.64 meters). Fellow freshman Zach Brainard (Lancaster, N.Y.) also competed i the long jump and placed sixth (5.36 m).
