She is the only member of the Wildcats to earn the distinction so far this season.

Rubio, who was named to the ECC All-Conference First Team this fall, compiled a 7-4 singles record while playing all her matches played on the No. 1 court. The team leader in conference singles wins with three, Rubio opened conference play with wins against Desire Parn (6-3, 6-3) of the University of the District of Columbia and second team selection Maja Makal (6-4, 4-6, 10-5) of Queens University. Parn and Makal were also ranked by the ITA in the East Region as well, with Parn tabbed 13th and Makal 15th. The graduate student earned her team-leading third conference win of the year on Oct. 11 against Emily Baughman Saunders (6-2, 6-1) of Molloy University.
