Women's Bowling Concludes Season at ECC Championships

SINKING SPRING, PA. - The Daemen University women's bowling team dropped both of their matches on Saturday in the ECC Women's Bowling Championship to conclude their 2024-25 campaign. 

HIGHLIGHTS
• Daemen entered the day as the #6 overall seed in the tournament after going 2-2 during Friday's qualifying matches. 
• Both matches were played using Baker Format Best of Seven and the tournament used a double-elimination format.
• Against #3 Bryant, the Wildcats jumped ahead to an early 3-0 lead against the Bulldogs, highlighted by a 197-166 victory in their second game. Still, Bryant rattled off four consecutive wins to comeback and defeat Daemen, 4-3. 
• The loss dropped Daemen into an elimination match against #7 Adelphi. The Panthers and Wildcats split the first four matches, but Adelphi survived with back-to-back wins in the fifth and sixth games and eliminated Daemen. 
• Daemen closed out the year with 40 wins. It marked the fifth time in program history the Wildcats eclipsed 40-or-more wins in program history.
