GENESEO, N.Y. - The Daemen University men's track & field team competed over two days at the Geneseo Early Season Invitational from April 4-5.
Junior
Adam Kamagate (Hilton, N.Y.) program record top three finish in the 110 meter hurdles and sophomore
Tyler Prescott (Cheektowaga, N.Y.) top-10 finish in the high jump highlighted the Wildcats efforts at the meet.
HIGHLIGHTS
• Starting on the track, Kamagate set the Daemen program record for the 110 meter hurdles as he finished third in his heat with a time of 15.32 seconds. He followed that performance with a time of 15.42 in the final to also place third and nearly break his own record again.
• Elsewhere on the track, graduate student
John Jaworski (Naperville, Ill.) placed seventh in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.97 seconds.
• Sophomore
CJ Johnson (Baltimore, Md.) led all Daemen runners in the 5000 meter with a final time of 15:52.04 to place 24th. The Baltimore, Md., native also placed 24th in the 1500 meter (4:12.31) as well.
• At the jump pit, Prescott finished in seventh with a final height of 1.84 meters, .04 shy of his career best.

The Wildcats are back in action on April 11 for the Rochester Spring Twilight, held on the campus of the University of Rochester.
