Box Score SPARKILL, N.Y. -- The Daemen University men's tennis team dropped their second East Coast Conference match at St. Thomas Aquinas College on Saturday, 0-7. With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 3-11 overall and 0-2 in ECC action.

The Spartans won all three doubles matches to take the first point of the match. STAC won No. 1 and No. 3 doubles in 0-6 finals. In second doubles, freshman Mitch Pollack (Winnipeg, Man.) and sophomore Jordan Hamdan (Johnson City, N.Y.) battled to a score of 3-6.

STAC went on to take all six singles pairings to hand Daemen the 0-7 match loss. Playing at second singles, junior Lasse Mergens (Bochum, Germany) faced off against STAC sophomore Theo Renoux and finished with a 2-6, 1-6 final. Pollack played at third singles against Don Vinz Lominoque and battled to a 3-6, 1-6 loss. 

The Wildcats will host Queens (Friday, March 28) and Millersville (Saturday, March 29) next weekend.
