HOUGHTON, NY - The Daemen Wildcats suffered their ninth straight loss and third one-goal loss of the season tonight as they dropped a 1-0 decision on the road at Houghton. With the loss, Daemen falls to 3-11 on the season and 1-8 in American Mideast Conference play.

The lone goal of the contest came off the foot of the Highlanders' Michael Amico in the 68th minute off a feed from Michael Dix.

The Wildcats managed just five total shots and two shots on goal in the contest. Houghton, meanwhile, launched 20 total shots but landed just five in the realm of goalkeeper of Matt Daddario (Amherst, NY/Sweet Home HS) who made four saves in a losing effort.

Daemen looks to end their streak when they face Fisher (0-12, 0-8) in the team's regular season finale this Saturday at 2pm.
