Box Score
SHARONVILLE, OH - Sophomore
Neil Bandinelli (Tonawanda, NY/Tonawanda HS) picked an opportune time to record the first goal of his career. Bandinelli's overtime tally gave the Daemen Wildcats a 2-1 win over the host Ohio Mid-Western Rams today. With the win, Daemen improves to 3-6 on the season while Ohio Mid-Western drops to 3-5.
Bandinelli took a feed from fellow sophomore
Stephen Linderman (Tonawanda, NY/Tonawanda HS) to register his signature marker.
Junior goalkeeper
Daniel Romer (Amsterdam, Netherlands/St. Nichols Lyceum HS) came on in relief of starter
Matt Daddario (Amherst, NY/Sweet Home HS) to pick up his second win of the season. Daddario left at the end of regulation with an injury. Romer came on and made a huge save early in the overtime period, paving the way for Bandinelli's heroics later.
After a scoreless first half, Daemen jumped out to a 1-0 lead after an "own goal" by Ohio Mid-Western. The Rams regrouped and tied the score with a goal of their own later in the half.
