The announcement of all-conference teams was made this morning in a press release from conference headquarters in West Bablyon, N.Y. The All-ECC teams were decided based on individual performances at the ECC Indoor Track and Field Championship which was held Feb. 16 in Staten Island. The top two finishers in each event were named First Team All-Conference, while the third and fourth place finishers earned Second Team All-Conference distinction. Corbin earned All-ECC honors for his third-place finish in the 60 meter dash. After placing fourth in the preliminary round with a time of 7.05 seconds, the sophomore broke his own school record of 7.01 with a time of 6.98 seconds in the finals. It's the second straight year that Corbin has earned Second Team All-ECC honors in the 60 meter dash, and the third all-conference accolade for his career overall. He was also a Second Team All-ECC honoree for the 100 meter dash during the 2018 outdoor season. Corbin placed fourth in the 60 meter dash at last season's indoor conference championship meet. The Wildcats' all-conference focus shifted to field events where both Keller and Fogle shined. Keller, a 6-foot-3 junior thrower, placed fourth in the shot put with a throw of 14.46 meters to earn the fourth All-ECC nod of his career. He was a Second Team All-ECC honoree last indoor season when he also placed fourth in the shot put. Keller has also earned Second Team All-ECC honors in the shot put in each of the last two outdoor campaigns. Fogle, a 6-foot freshman, cleared 3.05 meters in the pole vault competition to place third, earning his first career All-Conference selection. Daemen's three All-Conference athletes helped the Wildcats place eighth out of the 10 competing teams at the ECC Championship. In addition to announcing all-conference teams, the ECC also named St. Jacob Diodonet of St. Thomas Aquinas College as the ECC Men's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Year, and also the Most Outstanding Athlete of the ECC Championship. It marks the fourth straight year that Diodonet has been the league's Athlete of the Year. Mike Murawski of Georgian Court University was named the ECC Indoor Track and Field Coach of the Year.
