The selection of All-ECC athletes is based on individual finishes at the ECC Indoor Track and Field Championships which was held February 26 at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, N.Y. Moote earned All-ECC honors after posting a personal best time of 4:34.43 en route to a second place showing in the one mile run. The second-year collegiate runner eclipsed his previous best of time of 4:35.16 that he posted at the Brockport Multi earlier in the season. His ECC Championships time also ranks as the fourth fastest mile time in program history, just two seconds behind the school record of 4:32.2 set by Jeremy Rushok at the 2014 Golden Eagle Invite. Today's announcement marks the second All-ECC accolade of Moote's career and his first as an individual. He was previously named to the All-ECC Second Team for the 4x800 meter relay following last season's outdoor conference championship meet.
