The Wildcats opened the season with six straight home contests, going 4-2 in that span. Daemen earned four road wins last season. LAST TIME OUT Daemen picked up a 2-0 non-conference win over Roberts Wesleyan on Wednesday, marking the Wildcats' third straight victory. Macayla Hansen (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) converted a penalty kick in the 13th minute, giving the Wildcats a 1-0 advantage. Kylie Miranto (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) made it 2-0 in the 73rd minute, scoring off assists from Hansen and Victoria DiCarlo (North Tonawanda, N.Y.). Hansen led Daemen with three points (1G, 1A). She posted her first career three-point performance. Becca Schultz (Grand Island, N.Y.) tied her season high for the third time with 13 saves. MIRANTO TABBED OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Miranto was named the East Coast Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. The senior tallied four goals in two games last week, finding the back of the net twice in wins over Bentley and St. Thomas Aquinas. She also scored the game-winning goal in each contest. The forward has three multi-goal games this season. Her two game-winners bring her total to three this season and 13 in her career. Miranto now has 94 career points, closing in on becoming the fourth player in program history to reach 100 career points. WEEKLY HONOR ROLL Hansen and Schultz were named to the ECC Weekly Honor Roll on Monday. Hansen logged three points (1 goal, 2 assists) in two wins last week. She notched her first career point with an assist during the win over Bentley last Tuesday, then scored her first career goal in the victory over STAC last Saturday. Schultz posted a 2-0 record, a 0.53 GAA, and a .900 save percentage last week. The senior made nine saves in the victory over Bentley, stopping six shots in the first half and three in the second to secure the win. STAYING HOT Miranto has scored in three straight games, with five goals in that span after logging two-goal performances against Bentley and St. Thomas Aquinas. Hansen has also logged a point in three straight contests, with two goals and a helper. DiCarlo has an assist in two of the previous three matches. SCOUTING POST (0-4-1) The Eagles have yet to win a game, but are coming off a 0-0 tie at Felician on Thursday. Post has also yet to find the back of the net. Aryan Nisbet has started all five games in goal, logging a 3.67 goals-against average and a .714 save percentage. SERIES HISTORY This will be the first meeting between the programs. UP NEXT The Wildcats return to ECC play Wednesday, heading to Roberts Wesleyan for a 7 p.m. contest.
