| Daemen: Stephen Beatty enters his fourth season as the head coach of the Wildcats...over the course of his first three seasons, Beatty has guided the Daemen women's tennis team to a 24-46 record...a former collegiate player at Division II Northwood University (Mich.) and Division III D'Youville College, Beatty got his coaching start as an assistant to Kelly Brown, serving for one season - Daemen's inaugural season of tennis competition - before being promoted to the top post. |

| Daemen returns seven players from last year's team that tied the program record for overall wins after finishing 8-16 overall and 1-6 in the East Coast Conference...among the returners are the duo of seniors Hayle Scanlan and Karli Hollins...Scanlan enters the season already ranking as the Wildcats' all-time leader in singles victories (33), total singles matches (76), doubles victories (33) and total doubles matches (77)...Hollins went 13-9 in singles play and 17-9 in doubles play, tying teammate Gretchen Ringler's single-season record for singles victories, and establishing a new program record for doubles wins...Ringler, who set the singles record as a freshman in 2014-15, is also back after earning nine more singles wins last season...that tied her for third on the team with fellow returners Jessica Robins and Delaney Fragale...Daemen was picked seventh in the ECC preseason poll...six of Daemen's eight matches this season have been decided by three points or less...Daemen is coming off an 8-1 loss to Division I Niagara on Wednesday evening...Fragale picked up a win in sixth singles to help the Wildcats avoid the shutout...Scanlan leads the team with six singles wins this season, while Shaylah Iverson is just behind with a 5-4 singles mark...in doubles play, Daemen owns a 15-21 mark as a team, including 11-13 in dual-match play...Ringler leads the way individually with six doubles wins, four of which have come while being paired with Scanlan. |

| Cedarville is a member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference...the Yellow Jackets are led by head coach Dr. Dee Morris who is currently in her 41st year with the program, including the last 11 as head coach...in her time in the top role, Dr. Morris has led the Yellow Jackets to a 133-93 record to date, and GMAC championships in 2013 and 2015...CU returns eight players from its 2015-16 team which achieved an overall record of 12-9, and a GMAC record of 6-1...the Yellow Jackets entered GMAC Tournament play last spring as the No. 2 seed and advanced to the tournament finals where their season came to an end against top-seeded Davis & Elkins...among the Yellow Jackets' returners this season is senior Lauren Jackson, the 2015-16 GMAC Player of the Year...Jackson went 13-7 in singles play with all 20 matches coming in the first singles position last year, while adding a 17-4 mark in doubles play, all while paired with fellow returner Kristen Heydt...also back is sophomore Rosie Thompson who earned first-team All-GMAC honors after leading the team with 15 singles wins a season ago...after opening the 2016 season with a loss to Ohio Wesleyan, CU has rattled off four straight wins heading into their trip to Western New York this week...the Yellow Jackets play at Roberts Wesleyan on Thursday before facing Daemen on Friday...the Yellow Jackets are coming off a 9-0 shutout of Ohio Christian on Sept. 27...Thompson leads the way with an unblemished 4-0 mark in singles play thus far, while Jackson has posted a 3-1 record...as a team, Cedarville has gone 20-10 in singles matches and 11-4 in doubles matches this season. |

| Houghton is a member of NCAA Division III and the Empire 8 Conference...head coach Charlie Ellis is currently in his fourth season at the helm...he's guided the Highlanders to a 21-38 record in his tenure...the Highlanders return 11 players from their 2015-16 squad which set a program record for wins while compiling an 8-9 overall record...among Houghton's returners is sophomore Jacquelyn Lewis who led the team with eight singles wins last season...also back is sophomore Toni Kling who went 6-3 in singles play a season ago...the Highlanders have split 10 dual-matches so far this season, and bring a modest two-match winning streak into the matchup with Daemen on Saturday...recrnt wins have come against Utica (5-4) and Alfred (5-4)...the Highlanders' scheduled match vs. D'Youville for earlier this week was postponed. |
