Daemen University Athletics

One of the most decorated student-athletes in Daemen history, Brian Montanaro was inducted into the Daemen Athletics Hall of Fame in 2006 following a stellar four-year career with the men’s basketball team. Montanaro appeared in 129 games and totaled 1,920 points, 516 rebounds and 161 steals while twice earning team MVP honors. He was a key performer in Daemen’s run to the AMC championship and NAIA National Tournament Elite Eight in 2004 before leading the Wildcats to an AMC North Division title in 2006. The 2005-06 AMC North Player of the Year, Montanaro named to the NAIA All-America Third Team that season.
