Daemen University Athletics

A 2011 inductee into the Daemen Athletics Hall of Fame, Marybeth Nugent enjoyed a stellar four-year career on the hardwood with the women’s basketball team. As the team’s starting point guard, she quarterbacked the Wildcats to the NAIA National Tournament Sweet 16 as a senior, earning Second Team All-AMC honors along the way. A two-time team captain, Nugent appeared in and started 124 games and registered 993 points, 396 rebounds and 463 assists in her career.
