Hall of Fame
A three-year captain of the women’s basketball team, Larissa Smith was inducted into the Daemen Athletics Hall of Fame in 1997 following a five-year career. A two-time All-KECC First Team selection (1996, 1997), Smith led the Warriors to back-to-back conference championships and established 14 program records. She graduated as the program’s all-time leader in points (1,493), assists (498) and steals (418). Her 15 steals in a 1993 game vs. D’Youville remains both a program and NAIA record for a single game. Smith was named the KECC Player of the Year following the 1995-96 season.
