Debbie Braniecki is among the greatest players from the early days of the modern era of the Daemen women’s basketball program. Enshrined in the Daemen Athletics Hall of Fame in 1991, Braniecki competed for Daemen for four seasons (1987-91). A three-time team captain, Braniecki made 108 consecutive starts and finished her career with 1,150 points and 865 rebounds. She was a four-time NAIA District 18 All-Academic Team selection.
