Hall of Fame
A standout member of the Daemen women’s volleyball team from 2001-04, Mary Bellanca was inducted into the Daemen Athletics Hall of Fame in 2004. She led Daemen to three AMC championships, was named an NAIA All-American Scholar Athlete, and was a multi-time All-AMC selection. Bellanca was additionally named the AMC North Division Libero of the Year in 2003 and 2004, earning the team’s Defensive Player of the Year honor in both seasons as well. In her four seasons, Bellanca appeared in 563 sets, totaled 2,795 digs and averaged 4.96 digs per set - all still program records.
